On foundations and charities: Our rationale for giving

Dear all,

We are working this morning on setting up my agenda for the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016. On average I have about 8 to 10 public events per week. Maybe sometimes I have more but we will see if we can be as efficient for all of them.

I wanted to express this morning a few views on the rationale for giving and on charities, in general.

Having worked for over 12 years on international financing and now as Vice President for Risk Management, I am most often asked these days about how to develop and provide feedback to foundations on setting up their programs in the most effective and efficient way.

[…]

As the Chair of the World Bank IMF Staff Meditation Club I am working separately on setting up now many such programs in the corporate world in regards to wellness and meditation. Currently I am working on a book on how to set up such programs for 10,000 and over employees in the largest corporation in the world. For more on that specific examples, see meditationclub2014.wordpress.com

Sincerely,

Dr A Monica Dorhoi
